Cindarella

One of the earliest fairytales and regarded as a classic cindarella is a tale of a beautiful girl stuck and belittled in her own familybut she is able to rely on her fairy god mother for support and later rediscovers what it means to be lived through the prince.

This story is excellent as it is a rollercoadter ride of emotions as her father dies, she has to stay In a family who doesn't love her, she is bullied by them, she has no hope until her fairy god mother appears and allows her to go the ball. But as in real life nothing is ever perfect and she has a limit on how long she can stay. Her hastey exit causes her to leave her glass slipper behind and the is what sparks the princes nation wide hunt for her, and like in most fairy tales they end up living happy ever after.

These ups and downs keep the reader/viewer very interested and hooked as emotions vary throughout the narrative.

The moral of this story is to find you true love, never give up hope and it teaches lessons in humility.

This would be a great tale to modernise because it's main theme is love and love is what makes people happy and very much alive in today's society and there is a key elemt which is discrimination which, unfortuantely is still alive in today's society.
